Mexicali Live is hosting a monthly battle where each participating band plays one Wednesday night showcase over a five-week period. The winner out of the five bands receives a 200 dollar cash prize and an opportunity to open for a nationally touring act. This Battle is designed as an audition to find new local music talent ...to possibly add to the Mexicali band roster. The opportunity gives the bands a chance to prove their musicality, stage performance, originality, and crowd popularity and will be judged in those categories.
Its a great opportunity for up and coming acts to play at a quality venue and possibly lead to important larger gigs in front of a solid audience.
